Welcome to the all-new TICA South Central Region web site. I hope you find it useful. I welcome suggestions to make our site friendlier, and have it be one the most important bookmarks in your browser. With your input, we can have a dynamic extension of our Region, a place where we can all find the latest information on our shows, our people, our cats, and most anything else regarding the South Central Region.
All of the information contained on this web site is furnished by our Region members and clubs. If you have information to add or see an error, please contact me for a correction. Use the contact form, or direct to webmaster@ticasc.com.
About
our 1st LaPerm: QGCA
Reddazzle BC Sweet Tyler is our first LaPerm. He was shown for two
years in our Region, to the delight of many. His awards include 2nd Best
International LaPerm Alter 2006, and Best International LaPerm Alter, 2007.
Tyler has been the "poster child" of LaPerms world wide, being
featured by several Registries as the LaPerm that most typifies TICA and
many other registry Breed Specifications. Tyler has also been featured in
a Hungarian cat breeds publication, and is featured as the letter "L"
in a new children's alphabet book. Tyler is very active, always helping with
any project, getting his paws involved in a constant call to action. (Well,
maybe the paws also grab stuff to take and explore). His accomplishments
at home include helping to destroy a couple of very nice printers because
the paper either didn't go in quick enough, or came out too fast. On his
good side, he helps make the coffee every night. He makes sure we put the
right number of scoops, and carefully watches the water to make sure it is
poured in the "right
hole".
